The competitor whom I am following has used multiple keywords in his post, which is good. However, he is using different keywords in the URL and the post without mentioning them in the article even once. For example, he used ‘best products for acne’ in the URL, but he is not using this keyword in the article at all. Instead, he is using different keywords, which alters the information that the intended keyword should convey. Additionally, the ranking for each keyword is too low. So, my question is: which keyword should I choose from among them?

it would be best to choose the main keyword or those with low competition.
don’t do keyword-stuffing
find more competitors. he may not be doing it properly.
See lets suppose, you are a seller. and Your shop name is Sam Ice-cream, specialized in chocolate.
But when someone is coming to your shop, you dont have chocolate icecream.
So the person whom you are following, may be less aware about SEO.
So I will suggest you to follow standard on Page SEO, which are adviced by many SEOs and bloggers.
