How to know the worth of a website when you are flipping it ?

  1. if a website is making 100$ per month and adsense approved.
  2. if a website is getting 1000 traffic daily from US and other countries but not monetised ?
  3. Hindi website with daily 5k traffic but not monetized.

There is no thumb rule in deciding the value of a site. However, it is usually calculated as 30x of the revenue but this is not applicable on all sites.
Maybe a person is ready to buy your site for $500 and another person is ready to give $700 for the same site.

  1. if your site is making $100 a month, contact any of the site flipping platforms, they’ll evaluate and give you a valuation.
    most of the time it’ll be selling at a valuation of 20-30X of the revenue.
    that means, $100*30 = $3000, depending on the niche and future growth.

  2. if a site is getting 1000 traffic a month from the US, but is not monetized, again depending on the niche, it may sell between $100 and $500 or more.
    it basically depends on the niche, the person who is buying, and the number of articles to some extent.

  3. Hindi sites are hard to sell, but with monthly traffic of 5k without AdSense, I’m not sure, but maybe $100.
