I started working with the expired domain in August, added the domain to google search console, 10-20 impressions per day till 23rd December and 29th December.
But suddenly from December 31 impressions stopped coming. From that day till today the impression is only down and down.
Now I want to start a new site. What should I do in this case?

then you should have checked the reason at that time, the keywords must have de-ranked. you can start a new blog, but my advice would be to check for the reason what went wrong with that blog.
blogging is getting a bit difficult but it is 100% possible to earn money with blogging.
Find a proper micro niche, and then start blog on new domain.
Dont work on expired domains.
Expired domains are not for new bloggers.

Brother I don’t know what your experience in blogging is, if you are new, you should have not started with an expired domain.
Because with an expired domain there are many things to keep in mind, still if you did everything right there is no guarantee it will perform well .
The solution I can give you is, if you think there are some changes it will rank then work on it, otherwise setup a new micro niche.

Brother Now AI can only change the way of writing, but it can’t give an authentic solution for a human as another human can do.
SGE can suggest your site name if you make an authority site and Google updates are like a crisis in a startup/ business you have to prepare yourself for this.

Yes, blogging is definitely possible, but requires finding the right niche.
The process of finding the correct niche for you depends on the topics you are experienced enough to write about, combined with a monetization plan.
As others have said, I would avoid using an expired domain. Just go ahead and register something new once you figure out your niche.
Once you get your site up and running, make sure to install Google Analytics, not just Search Console, so that you can keep an eye on your traffic sources. Then if you see a drop in impressions you will have more data on the cause.
