I personally use EWWW Image Optimizer to optimize my website’s images. It will auto-compress your new images whenever you upload them. Must give it a try!

Dear if you are not willing to use any plugin for Image Compression then you can use Squoosh to change the image in WebP format the quality will remain same and don’t worry about the file size
